So I’ve always been in love with makeup and anything beauty related. I was the little girl that begged her parents for tthat large barbie head (a large barbie and shoulders that would sit on a tabletop), so I could do her makeup and fix her hair. For some reason, I always found myself in creative artistic industries (Hair, Spa, Film/TV) but never actually did makeup specifically. Since I was old enough to afford it – I would go to MAC as a treat every year and do a lesson with one of those gorgeous artists and buy EVERYTHING they suggested and rock the look in a different ways, until I saved up enough for another lesson!  I used cork lip liner BEFORE it became popular again. lol

Among my beauty and product reviews I’ll also be chronicling my adventure into the makeup artistry program at Vancouver Community College (VCC), where after meeting with a couple other program advisors in the city, I found it worked out best for my schedule because you can take 1 course at a time, earning your Makeup Artistry Certificate in just over a year.
